Ballymacstoker Beach
Donegal is one of the most beautiful regions of Ireland with a
spectacular 200 mile coastline. There is much to see – including the
old towns of Ballyshannon and Donegal, lakes like Lough Derg with
St. Patrick’s shrine - a place of Christian pilgrimage - and Lough Eske
with its stunning backdrop of the Blue Stack Mountains. There are
great beaches including Rossnowlagh, which has three miles of
perfect sand running along the east coast of Donegal Bay. Horn Head
stands at the tip of its own peninsular and is among the finest
headlands in the whole of Ireland. To the south lies Creeslough,
opposite Muckish Mountain and early 15th century Doe Castle.
Glenveagh National Park has majestic mountains and not-to-be-
missed gardens.
This beautiful log cabin in the heart of Donegal is available to rent
year round at very reasonable prices. All amenities, such as shops,
restaurants, bars etc are to found within walking distance of the cabin.
Children are excellently catered for, with football/ basketball court,
play areas, greens, and games area close by. Overall, this makes for
a wonderful holiday which is ideal for all the family or if its just a quiet
few days to "chill" the Cabin is the ideal location.The village of
Kerrykeel itself is centrally situated on the Fanad Peninsula. This
beautiful peninsula stretches north from the village of Milford via
Kerrykeel to Fanad Head and back down to the quaint Georgian
village of Ramelton via Portsalon and Rathmullan. It has some of the
most remarkable cliff scenery in Ireland. The peninsula has
numerous bays, glorious beaches, rolling hills and numerous small
lakes. On the eastern shores of the peninsula the renowned
Knockalla coast road offers a spectacular drive overlooking Lough
Swilly and the Inishowen hills
